I’m a fractional COO and AI/operations advisor for founder-led service businesses. I help founders build scalable operating models, clear role structures, and the execution systems that let them step back from daily firefighting. Before Asamby, I ran operations at a consumer brand and led transformations for Fortune 500 clients at Booz Allen Hamilton. I write about what actually moves the needle in SME operations, not frameworks for their own sake, but the decisions and systems that compound over time.
Francesco started his career in tech and operations consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton, working on digital and supply chain transformations for industrial, consumer, and automotive clients worldwide. He then went on to get his MBA from MIT Sloan, after which he joined an international outdoor sports brand as COO, where he oversaw ERP and e-commerce rollouts across multiple countries, opened new sales channels, and helped close funding rounds in Europe and the US. Online sales doubled in his first year. Today, as a partner at Asamby Consulting, he works as a fractional COO and AI/operations advisor with startups and growth-stage service businesses. He has helped companies tackle org redesigns, process clean-ups, ERP selection, KPI systems, and AI adoption across professional services, SaaS, auto parts distribution, travel, and e-commerce.
